Heading to Mic Mac Mall
Two seats left. Leaving from the Student Centre, back by 4.
Planned ridesharing for verified students heading the same way and the people and plans around them.
A 9 AM lecture, a lab across town, a grocery run at six. On-demand apps price every one of those as a solo trip while the seats beside you stay empty. Ronnect is the other way round: planned trips between students who are going the same way.
Shared ride
Four seats, four students, one plan
Transit goes the opposite way from where you need to be. Ride-hailing prices every journey as if you were travelling alone and the empty seats pull away with the car.
Every seat you were not going to use costs you full price.
A driver running solo saves fuel, so sharing rarely gets offered.
Class ends at nine. Your ride should already have been posted.

A campus day, spread across a real place
Either side of the trip can start it. Both end with a person approving a seat.
Drivers post a trip: destination, departure time, seats left. Riders post a request: where and when. Either way it starts with a plan, not a hail.
Only verified students at your campus can see the board. Requests show the route and the time, so nobody is guessing.
You approve who rides with you and how many seats. Cost is shared rather than surged and afterwards the conversation can keep going.

Built for the way students actually move
Not on-demand. Deliberately.
Ronnect is not a taxi and not a hail service. A trip has to be planned by somebody, which is exactly why the seats are cheap and the people are known.
Rides going somewhere, students who need a ride, and plans that are not transport yet. All on a single board with filters, so nothing is hidden in a separate tab.

Boards & coffee
Waterfront
Sunny day, no agenda. Ride together or meet us down there.
Illustrative board, sample posts, not live trips.
Traditional ride apps ask where you are going. Ronnect asks two more questions: who might you go with, and what you could do together. Rides create connections, connections create plans, and plans create more rides.
See the community layer

Keep the people you got along with, and plan the next trip with them.
Share what you are into. A café, a match, a market and see who is going.
Post an outing, invite your buddies, and let verified students request a seat.
Events and places picked from your interests, not an ad budget.

Expanding the social side should make a student network safer, not looser. Sharing a seat never shares your feed, your address or your live location.
Only eligible students join a campus network.
Invitations are requests, not bookings.
Choose who sees your plans. Buddies, campus, or invitees.
One tap, enforced immediately.
You already drive to campus, to the store, home for the weekend. Post those trips, decide who rides with you, and share the cost with people heading your way.
Your schedule
Post the trips that already fit your week.
Your approval
Choose every rider yourself, every time.

Ronnect is not live everywhere. We open one campus network at a time, and we say what is built.
A network where every campus has a board worth opening on a Monday morning and where the person you shared a ride with in September is the reason you opened it in October.
Get early accessOpening in

Early access is invite-only and opens campus by campus. If you study in Halifax, Nova Scotia, or you drive there every day, we want you in the first cohort.
The apps are still in build. Join the list and we will tell you the day yours is live. The badges above take you there, not to a store that does not have us yet.
